All tattoos hurt to some degree. Certain spots will hurt more than others.

You and the artist will work together to create a design that is right for you and figure out what will be the best placement for your tattoo.

Keep your bandage on for one to two hours. Then you can remove your bandage and clean your tattoo with warm water and anti-bacterial soap. Then you an apply a small amount of ointment like Aquaphor to the tattoo. Repeat this process two to three times a day for the first three days. Do not pick or scratch at your tattoo, and do not soak it in water.
